Pat Nevins released his first solo CD "Shakey Zimmerman" on Artmuse Records. The CD brings together 10 songs penned by Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Pat is backed by a great group of supporting musicians well known in Grateful Dead circles and has perfomances drawing from experience and inspiration. Recently Pat was chosen as a contributor to a Bob Dylan Tribute CD. As a founding member of the popular midwest band The Deadbeats, Pat contributed several songs which were released on two different all original CD's while with the Deadbeats from 1985-1994. They opened for some of America's premier acts including The Band, Merl Saunders & the Rainforest Band, The New Riders of the Purple Sage, The David Nelson Band, Vassar Clements, Commander Cody, Lonnie Brooks, Koko Taylor, among others. Pat has forged a name in the San Francisco Bay area as both a solo artist and member of various side projects as well as performing with musical collaborator, singer, songwriter, Paul Siegel. Pat is now a member of Grapefruit Ed.
