Julie Larson (vocals, rhythm guitar, flute, mandolin, banjo, tenor sax) originally from Brooklyn, NY, is a San Francisco Bay Area singer-songwriter. She has been involved with music practically all her life and is well respected by her fellow musicians. After receiving her BM in Music Education (Ithaca College 1988) and teaching privately and in public schools, Julie has made performance and the promotion of quality music her full-time career. She appears on Allene Rohrer's CD "Synergism" (2001) on flute, and has sat in with many notables through the years, including Martin Fierro (JGB, Zero, MFQ), David Gans with Intervention (host of the Grateful Dead Radio Hour on KPFA), Mark Karan (The Other Ones, Jemimah Puddleduck), the late Luther Tucker (respected Blues guitarist) and Bill Sims (NYC Blues guitarist). Julie is currently promoting her second Artmuse Records release WAKENING.
